Interview with Kathrine Lindman
This year`s Inhorgenta will be the first time for you to exhibit in Munich. How did the decision come about to present your brand in Germany?

- I have already exhibited in Ambiente Frankfurt in 2009. I was invited as an exhibitor at Talente, and I explored the German marked and found it very interesting for my collection.
At that time I was asked by several byers and agents if I would sell some of my designs. I was also a visitor at Inhorgenta in 2005, and I liked the fair very much. It is a place for connection and opportunities. This year I participated at Vicenzaoro in Italy, and there I was asked if i wanted to exhibit at the Inhorgenta.
You have already been invited to the Fashion and Jewellery Weeks in New York and Paris, and your jewellery is particularly well known in Norway. What expectations do you have to the Inhorgenta in terms of new retailers from other countries?
-I established my company i 1996, and from that time I have been working internasjonal with
exhibitions in galleries and collections for retailers. I hope my signature collections in silver and enamel inspired by the ocean will appeal to a wider range of costumers and retailers
who find interest in my story and work.

Your jewellery is very much inspired by the shapes and colours of nature (e. g. seashells and seaweed). At the same time, it is very opulent and extravagant. Who is the typical Kathrin Lindman jewellery wearer?
- In my experience I can see a lot of different women wearing my jewelry, but maybe women who are looking for something different but still wearable and classy with a twist. A woman who appreciates colours, the nature and the ocean.
Your collections include matching bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings. Which pieces do
you find sell best?
- I sell a lot of bracelets in different sizes, but also pendants, earrings, rings and necklaces.
Many of my customers start with one or two models and add other models later to
compleet their selected collection.
